BOUND BY HARMONY
a choral journey through humankind's connection to nature, faith, love, and loss
Details
The debut concert by Baltimore's new professional chamber choir, DUALIS. "Bound By Harmony" is an exploration of the shared connections humans have with nature, faith, love, and loss. Each connection is depicted by music of contrasting styles, spanning multiple time periods, with each piece offering a different take on the central idea. In embracing contrast, DUALIS celebrates the inherent connectedness of humanity through song. Program highlights include Leila Adu's Colouring-In Book, Anna Thorvaldsdottir's Þann heilaga kross, and Carlo Gesualdo's Tristis est anima mea.
