Jordan BarrettBaritone Jordan Barrett is a professional musician and arts administrator based in Wilmington, Delaware. Primarily an ensemble singer, he appears regularly in groups throughout the Northeast such as Mastersingers of Wilmington, the Bard Festival Chorale, New York Virtuoso Singers, and The Princeton Singers. He serves as soloist and section leader for the Chancel Choir of First & Central Presbyterian Church in downtown Wilmington and regularly appears with ensembles in other prominent area churches such as Christ Church Christiana Hundred; the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul; St. Mark’s Church, Philadelphia; First Presbyterian Church, Germantown; Washington Memorial Chapel, Valley Forge; and St. Peter's Church in the Great Valley. As a professional chorister, he has performed at venues such as Carnegie Hall, Alice Tully Hall, Marion Anderson Hall at the Kimmel Center, The Academy of Music, and the Fisher Center at Bard College. As a collaborative pianist, he has performed frequently with college voice students and area school choirs. An experienced arts administrator, he currently serves as the Director of Operations for OperaDelaware and the Board President of Market Street Music. He studied Music Performance in Voice at the Pennsylvania State University (BM) and the University of Delaware (MM).
