Katie SurineMs. Surine received her M.M. in Vocal Performance from CCPA, Roosevelt University and her B.A. in Music and Anthropology from the University of Notre Dame. Besides Dualis, she currently sings with the Washington Master Chorale, Carmina & Illuminare, and the Christ Church Georgetown Choir in Washington, D.C. She has also sung with the Saint James Cathedral Choir in Chicago, IL and is an alumna of the Notre Dame Vocale.
Solo highlights include the Allegri Miserere (St. James), Mozart's Exsultate jubilate (St. James), the role of Venus in Purcell's "King Arthur" (CCPA Graduate Opera), the role of Celia in Robert Steptoe's "As You Like It" (Opera Notre Dame), and a Female Quartet member in Richard Einhorn's Voices of Light (Princeton Festival, 2016). |
