Kethrellan PetersonKethrellan Peterson (she/they), soprano, is an educator and vocalist based in Philadelphia, PA. She regularly performs with ensembles in the Philadelphia and Delaware areas, including Mastersingers of Wilmington, Mendelssohn Chorus of Philadelphia, the Choir School of Delaware, and Elevate Vocal Arts’ professional ensemble Elevation. Kethrellan also sang on Tenēo’s 2023 American Prize winning album “Walking Through The Valley”. A passionate educator, Kethrellan currently teaches middle school General Music and Choir in the Upper Darby School District. Her previous education experience also includes early childhood music teaching, infant and preschool childcare, and a children’s choir assistantship through University of Delaware’s Community Music School. She completed a B.M. in Music Education with concentrations in voice and cello from the University of Delaware, where she performed with the UD Chorale, University Singers, UD Symphony Orchestra, and toured internationally with the Delaware Choral Academy. Kethrellan is also a founding member of Convoco, a democratic collective based in Philadelphia promoting individual artistry through choral collaboration.
