Lulu HassaneinLulu Hassanein, soprano, is a Maryland-based versatile storyteller, performing across many genres: classical and contemporary, operatic, musical, and straight theatre. Hassanein is an empathetic and dynamic performer. She is praised for her attention to detail as she crafts and creates sincere and captivating performances. Recent performances: Sandman/Dew Fairy in Hansel and Gretel (CJ Productions), Furia 1 in La Calisto (Peabody Opera) and Coro Soprano in La Clemenza di Tito (Peabody Opera). Hassanein is a third-year undergraduate at the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University, pursuing degrees in Vocal Performance and Music Education under the tutelage of Dr. Carl DuPont.
