Mara Yaffee

From ballads to Bach, storytelling is the centerpiece of Baltimore based soprano/multi-instrumentalist Mara Yaffee’s interpretations. As a songwriter and singer of traditional folk music of the English language, Mara uses guitar, autoharp, mountain dulcimer, and other instruments to accompany herself. Mara has recently appeared onstage with companies including IN Series Opera and The Boston Early Music Festival. Mara holds degrees from Carnegie Mellon University and Peabody Conservatory.
