Scott ClausenScott Clausen currently serves as the Director of Music and Worship at St. Mark’s UMC in Easton, MD. He leads a diverse music program of various choirs for ages 3 thru Adult and oversees both the music ministry’s role in worship and its community outreach. He maintains a local voice studio in Easton, and enjoys coaching students for auditions and roles, as well as participating in music theater clinics.
In addition to over 20 years of church music and teaching, Scott has enjoyed working and singing with musicians in a wide variety of locales and venues. He has worked with choirs in New York City, Chicago, New Orleans, San Antonio and Dallas. He has appeared with the San Antonio Pops Orchestra, the Princeton Singers, the Gotham Scholars, the Highland Chorale, and the Little Orchestra Society at Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall. He holds a B.Mus. in Voice from Trinity University in San Antonio, TX, and a M.Mus. in Voice and Choral Conducting from Northwestern University in Evanston, Il. |
